Every Thursday night from 6:30pm-8:30pm we have our club night.  This is run as an opportunity for all current and prospective club members to come down and have a hit with other members.  Courts are rotated every 10-15 minutes or so, and it is a great way to get to meet new players.
There will normally be at least one Squash Committee member present, so feel free to drop in and take a look around.

We currently have a special introductory offer.  For the low low price of $60 you can join the Kumeu Squash Club for up to three months ($50 base fee plus $10 key charge).  During this time you will be able to attend club nights as well as use courts with other members (including other introductory members).  At the end of the three months you then have the option of joining as a senior or prepay member.  Note that we can reprogram the key, so you will not have to pay an additional $10 again.  For more details, see here.

Note that the family discount does not apply to the Introductory Offer, but would apply once you decide to become a senior member.

Every Monday night during term 1 2012, come down to the Kumeu Squash Club between 7:00-8:00pm and join the Kumeu Squash Red Dots!  If you havent played squash before, or havent come down to the Kumeu Club before, then this is the night for you.  You will be able to borrow a racquet, receive coaching, meet new people, and generally have fun.  You will need to bring non-marking court shoes, and sessions cost $5 per night.

There are two options for senior squash membership - affiliated, and non-affiliated.  Affiliated membership means that you will be registered with NZ Squash, and will receive a grade and a player code.  This is a requirement in order to be able to play interclub and tournaments.  Affiliated membership costs $340 ($275 base fee plus $65 affiliation), and there is an additional $10 charge for the key itself, making a total of $350 for the first year.
If you do not need to be affiliated, then you can join for $285 ($275 base fee plus $10 key).  If you decide later on to become graded, then you will just need to pay the additional $65.

Senior squash membership runs from March 1 until February 28 of the following year because this brackets the 'primary' squash winter season.  If you join after the first of July, the base fee may be discounted by $25 for every whole month since the start of the year.  For example, if you join in August, your base fee would be $275 - 5x$25 = $150.  The affiliation fee is not discounted.

Senior members are able to bring visitors to play but are responsible for the payment of $5 per visitor per hour into the honesty box.  Senior membership also allows you to play on our Thursday club nights (6:30pm-8:30pm).  We highly recommend that you join up in March/April so that we have plenty of time to get you graded and into an interclub team.  Of course if you join later than this we will make every effort to add you to an existing team.

Finally there are all the social aspects of the club - we generally run a number of different events during the year.

Juniors are players who are aged 16 and under at the time of joining.  We offer coaching to junior squash players on Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 during terms two and three.  Enrolling as a junior costs $80 per term, but does not include a separate key to access the courts outside of these times.
If you are enrolled in Junior coaching and require key access to the courts then, at the discretion of the squash committee, you may be able to apply for a junior membership.  This costs an additional $100 per year, and the key will be issued to the parent/caregiver who is responsible for supervising access to the courts.  During peak periods senior members have priority access to courts.

If you are aged 18 and under at the time of joining, and are still in full time education then, at the discretion of the squash committee, you may be able to apply for an intermediate membership.  This gives you all rights of a senior member at the price of junior membership ($200 base fee plus $65 affiliation plus $10 key).

For players who are unsure how much squash they will play, we offer a casual membership option.  This costs $120 up front, which breaks down into $50 annual membership fee, $10 key fee and $60 credit that is loaded onto your key.  Court time is then charged against your key at the rate of $15 per hour.  When you run out of credit you can simply 'top up' your key for additional time.  Your membership will run for a year from the date of joining (i.e. not a fixed year like the senior membership).

Casual membership also allows you to play on our Thursday club nights (6:30pm-8:30pm) and join all our social events.

A family discount of 10% applies to all members from the same family who live at the same address.  This discount applies only to the base fee, and not to the key or affiliation charges.  The family discount does not apply to the Introductory Offer.
